“Chip” was drawn as a gift from a couple of lovely Irish boys for their mother in Sligo, Ireland! Happy birthday Mam!
Please come join me and some incredibly talented artists at our next PAA group exhibition “The Face of Australia” at Parliament House, Sydney opening on Tuesday 29th March 2011, 6-8pm. The theme is a portrait in the landscape of Australia and the opening speaker will be Minister for the Arts, Virginia Judge MP. The exhibition will be held until 29th April. So happy to have been selected as a finalist in the Mortimer Art Prize in two sections – Portraiture with my tonal painting of the lovely Eugenie “White Shoes White Ribbon” and Still Life with “Fiore” Tryptych.
A big thank you to the Lane Cove Art Society, Lane Cove Council and the judges of the 2010 Exhibition Ann Cape and Joe Penn for my award on Friday for “Fiore” Tryptych. An honour and so happy to be included in this amazing exhibition!
